2019 City Nature Challenge Bioblitz - Hosted by National Park Service and One Tam
Take part in the fourth annual City Nature Challenge, an international community science competition to see which urban area can document the most nature. Join NPS and One Tam at Stinson Beach as we try to identify and document the plants, animals, and fungi we see. Hone your naturalist skills, learn to use the iNaturalist app, and become our scientific collaborator for a day.
We will meet at Stinson Beach and then split up into smaller groups to go look at different habitat types nearby with local experts. As part of One Tam’s community (citizen) science team you will contribute new scientific knowledge for the long-term health of our parks and open spaces and help us beat LA at the City Nature Challenge.
